Actress Soleil Moon Frye, sun of Hollywood stars

Like Macaulay Carson Culkin, Edward Furlong and many others, Soleil Moon Frye is a former child actress. Soleil first name mean "sun" in French. Soleil Moon Frye father is actor and former Golden Gloves boxing champion Virgil Frye. Soleil Moon Frye was also involve in the entertainment industry. When Soleil Moon Frye was a child, her mom, Sondra Peluce Londy was a talent agent.

Soleil Moon Frye two half-brothers, Sean Frye and Meeno Peluce, are also both former child actors. Sean Frye played in the film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) co-produced and directed by Steven Spielberg. Soleil Moon Frye brother Meeno Peluce made several guest appearances in several TV shows, including: Starsky and Hutch, Benson, Diff'rent Strokes, The Incredible Hulk, Happy Days, The A-Team, Silver Spoons, Manimal and Remington Steele. In the late 1990s, Meeno Peluce became a history teacher at the Hollywood High School. During her school years, Soleil Moon Frye dates Edward Furlong.

Always today, Soleil Moon Frye remain known for her role in the sitcom Punky Brewster. The TV show Punky Brewster aired on NBC from 1984 to 1988. In Punky Brewster, Soleil Moon Frye played the role of Penelope "Punky" Brewster, a young girl being abonned by her mother. In 1986, Soleil Moon Frye won the Best Young Actress Starring in a Television Series title from Young Artist Award.

Following her successful acting early debut, Soleil Moon Frye directed the film Wild Horses (1998). Soleil Moon Frye played the role of Roxie King in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch from 2000 to 2003. Soleil Moon Frye made several appearances in different TV shows, such as Friends.

Soleil Moon Frye voiced characters for the animated series Tiny Toon Adventures and The Cartoon Cartoon Show. Soleil Moon Frye also voiced, among other, the character of Zoey in the Disney Channel series The Proud Family and the series' 2005 television movie.

Soleil Moon Frye father Virgil Frye suffers from Alzheimer. Soleil Moon Frye courageously made an appearance in The Doctors, a show co-produced by Dr. Phil to share her family experience with the Alzheimer disease. In relation to the Alzheimer disease, Soleil Moon Frye directed an independent documentary title Sonny Boy. In 2004, Sonny Boy won the prize of best documentary at the San Diego Film Festival. Sonny Boy document a two week trip in the states that Soleil Moon Frye took with her father Virgil. In Sonny Boy, Soleil Moon Frye turned her personal pain into a powerful message of hope.
