Sneakers and Soul: Upcoming indie film deep from the soul

Sneakers and Soul is a comedy-drama directed by Jonathan Zelenak. The film producers are Patrick Lamorte and Niki Janowski. Writers are Marty Buccafusco and Jonathan Zelenak. The director of photography is Michael Lavoie. The production company of Sneakers and Soul is Emergency Poncho Productions, an independent film company.

The movie had its own blog (sneakersandsoul.blogspot.com) and Web site (sneakersandsoul.com). Jonathan Zelenak had written several posts on the Sneakers and Soul blog.

Some shooting scenes had been taking in Cape May (NJ). A special scene of the movie Sneakers and Soul, which is the reading of a will, had been shoot at the Cape MayElementary School.

According to the Web site of Marie Cecile Anderson (mariececileanderson.com) an actress who plays in Sneakers and Soul, the premiere of the indie movie should be around January or February 2009. According to IMDB.com, the release is for February 14, 2009.

Several underground indie artists are taking part of the soundtrack of Sneakers and Soul. Mathias Hatleskog Tjonn, The Measure (SA), Lindsay Katt, Palmyra, Pale Young Gentlemen, The Defending Champions, Noble Three, Peter Broderick, Steso Songs, The Botticellis, Proud Simon, Brooke Waggoner and Béatrice Martin alias Cœur de Pirate had contributed to the soundtrack of the upcoming indie movie.
