Pamela Lajoie, Pop sensation Superstar

Teen sensation Pamela Lajoie, Akon protégée was born in August 25, 1992 in St-Eustache (Quebec). Pamela Lajoie started performing in talent shows and classes at only 9 years old.

She released her first album in 2007 under the Montreal label Sonny Black. Her first album was in French and title 120 milles à l’heure. Her music style is pop rock. Pamela Lajoie first hit single Animal had been played on Quebec radio stations. Pamela Lajoie first music video took the number one place on MuchMusic for over a month the same year.

In 2008, she performed as a camper at the Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp, an educational summer camp located in New Milford (Connecticut).

In 2009, Pamela Lajoie got discover by Hitlab.com. Hitlab is an independent music distributors and publishers being manage by Akon himself. Akon, born Aliaune Badara Akon Thiam is a worldwide acclaim singer-songwriter and record producer. Akon had contributed to Lady Gaga and T-Pain success stories. In the summer of 2009, Pamela Lajoie started working with producers Diane Warren and Glen Ballard.
