Own by Danny Davis and Jim Cornette, the Ohio Valley Wrestling is located in Louisville (Kentucky). On the ring, Danny Davis or Daniel Briley was known as Tiger Mask. Daniel Briley alias Danny Davis retired from the professional wrestling world in 1997. During his wrestling career, Danny Davis wins several titles, including: the NWA Southeastern Continental Tag Team Championship, the NWA Southeastern United States Junior Heavyweight Championship and the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship, just to name a few. The co-owner of the Ohio Valley Wrestling, Jim Cornette is a professional wrestling manager, commentator, promoter and booker. Jim Cornette is currently the head booker of the Ohio Valley Wrestling. The activities of the Ohio Valley Wrestling began in 1993. Between 1993 and 1997, the Ohio Valley Wrestling was known under the name of NWA Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling).

At the Ohio Valley Wrestling, wrestling classes are provided by Nick Dinsmore. Nicholas Colinius Bobowski "Nick" Dinsmore is a professional wrestler. Nick Dinsmore begins his career in wrestling in 1997. In 2004, Nick Dinsmore made his debut in the WWE, performing under the name of Eugene. On the same year, Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked Nick Dinsmore number 21 on 500 wrestlers in the PWI 500. During his career as Eugene, Nick Dinsmore wins the Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Championship 9 times.

The Ohio Valley Wrestling is one of the most important wrestling training schools of the United States. It had trained many successful male wrestlers, as well as female wrestlers. Maryse Ouellet herself made her wrestling debut at Ohio Valley Wrestling. Currently, a few female wrestlers are being train at the Ohio Valley Wrestling facilities. They are: C.J. Lane, Epiphany Jones, Hannah Blossom, Holly Blossom, Lady JoJo and Taryn Shay.

Since 1997, the male and female wrestlers of the Ohio Valley Wrestling make a weekly appearance of 60 minutes on the Ohio Valley Wrestling TV. The Ohio Valley Wrestling TV can be view on the WYCS, WKYT and WOBZ-LP channels.
