Jordan Knight from the New Kids on the Block

Jordan Knight, from his birth name Jordan Nathaniel Marcel Knight, is born on May 17, 1970 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Jordan Knight is an original band members of the New Kids on the Block. Jordan Knight is the brother of Jonathan Knight, who's also an original member of the New Kids on the Block. Jordan Knight join the New Kids on the Block when he was only 13. Under the management of Maurice "The General" Starr, the New Kids on the Block had an emormous success in the late 1980s-early 1990s.

In the early years of the New Kids on the Block, Jordan Knight began to write songs. Despite his talent, Maurice Starr didn't want to include Jordan Knight material into the boy band repertoire. In 1990, while having to face refusal from Maurice Starr, Jordan Knight offered a song he co-wrote with Danny Wood to the young singer Tommy Page. The song was title I'll Be Your Everything. In April 1990, I'll Be Your Everything hit the number 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in April 1990. Tommy Page debut album Paintings in My Mind was produced by Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg and Michael Jonzun.

The New Kids on the Block had sell 80 million records worlwide. Following their success story, the New Kids on the Block disbanded in 1994.

After the New Kids on the Block split, like Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight started his solo musical career. Jordan Knight released his first solo single in 1999 title Give it to you. The single Give it to you hit reached the number 10 song on the Billboard Hot 100. The single went sell at over a million copies. For his first single, Jordan Knight was nominated for the 1999 MTV Video Music Award for Best Dance Video. For his first album, Jordan Knight won an Aspire Music Award for Best Male Album, pop category.
So far in his solo career, Jordan Knight had released 4 albums: Jordan Knight (1999), Jordan Knight Performs New Kids on the Block: The Remix Album (2004), The Fix (2005) and Love Songs (2006).

Jordan Knight is the proud father of Dante Jordan, born on August 25, 1999 and Eric Jacob, born on February 21, 2007. Jordan Knight is married to longtime girlfriend Evelyn Melendez Knight. The couple married on September 12, 2004.

In April 2008, the members of New Kids on the Block, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight, including Jordan Knight, announced their reuniting. In May 2008, the New Kids on the Block released "Summertime". An album follow, title The Block.

In the summer of 2011, the New Kids on the Block will be touring with the Backstreet Boys.
