From his birth name Daniel William Wood, Jr., Danny Wood is born on May 14, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts. Danny Wood is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. Danny Wood is an original band member of New Kids on the Block.
When he was in high school, Donnie Wahlberg recruited him to be part of the New Kids on the Block. At that time, Danny Wood had been offered a scholarship to Boston University, put he passed it up to perform with the New Kids on the Block. In the New Kids on the Block, Danny Wood serves as one of the key choreographers.
In 1989, Danny Wood dates Halle Berry, first African-American ever to win an Oscar as best actress. Between 1990-1993, Danny Wood has a relationship with Elise Stepherson with who he had a son, Danny Jr, born in 1992. Between 1996 and 2005, Danny Wood dates Patricia Alfaro, a songwriter her met at an Orlando music studio. Together, they have 2 daughters: Chance, born in 1998 and Vega, born in 1999.
Back in 1992, Danny Wood dream was to see other bands achieve what he had achieved with the New Kids on the Block. Following the New Kids on the Block split, Danny Wood worked for Lou Pearlman of Trans Continental Records, who was responsible for the boy bands Backstreet Boys, O-Town and NSYNC. Danny Wood produced demos for the bands but when those bands got deals, the songs he had worked on were cut of the album. those experiences were frustrating for Danny Wood and they motivated him to write for himself.
Following New Kids on the Block mega success, Danny Wood began to act as a music producer. Danny Wood operates his own record label called Damage Records. Under the management of Danny Wood, Damage Records is an independent record label and video house that specializes in underground music and video.
As a singer, Danny Wood also perform solo. In 1999, under the DJ name D-Fuse, Danny Wood released his first solo album a dance album, "Room Full Of Smoke" as D-Fuse. Danny Wood released his second album in 2003 title Second Face. It took Danny Wood 3 years to release Second Face. During that time, Danny Wood wrote a lot of songs and tried to get a record deal. Paul Kline, president of BMG Records, is the one who put is faith in Danny Wood project and from there, the album Second Face was released.
Second Face was produced by Danny Wood himself and his friend producer and engineer Pete Masitti of the West End Recording Studios. Pete Masitti is a graduate from the Juilliard School in Performance and the University of Miami from were he hold a Masters Degree in Music Production. Pete Masitti had worked for MTV, Gerri Halliwell, Hootie & the Blow Fish, Julio Iglesias, Kelly Rowland and Shakira, just to name a few. In 2008, Danny Wood released the album Coming Home. In 2009, Danny Wood released Coming Home 2.

In April 2008, the members of New Kids on the Block, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, including Danny Wood, announced their reuniting. In May 2008, the New Kids on the Block released "Summertime". An album follow, title The Block. In 2011, the New Kids on the Block will be touring with the Backstreet Boys. Backstreet Boys A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter will be from the tour, but not Kevin Richardson, despite being an original member of the Backstreet Boys. Kevin Richardson left the Backstreet Boys in June 2006 to pursue other interests.

New Kids on the Block tickets 16 months ago
2011 is going to be a good year for new kids. They know how to play instruments write their own music and they sing well. They know how the music industry works and I hope they will be around for upcoming years. I’m a new kid fan and I’m glad they are doing well and they are getting out in the media making new fans. Having fun and I love the new romance with new kids hahaha lol.
